It is one of the largest music entertainment businesses in the world. Based in Tokyo, Japan the Fortune Global 500 List ranked Sony Corporation at 97th spot but as a television manufacturer, it is the fifth-largest company in the world after Samsung and LG. It is also the leading companies in the premium TV market that sells minimum 55-inch sized and larger televisions that are priced at more than $2500.

This Chinese electronics company based in Beijing is more popular for its Smartphones, mobile apps, fitness bands, and other products. The 10-year-old company has rapidly gained a huge share in the mobile market of Asia and South Africa. But it is still finding it difficult to gain a good footing in the television market of India with Samsung, LG, and Sony giving a tough competition.
The company offers its televisions in all ranges in size and quality normally available in the Indian market albeit at comparatively low pricing. It can be one of the reasons why people are slowly turning towards MI televisions which until now have not been able to gain proper brand value.

Vu
Vu is an Indian electronics company founded by Devita Saraf in 2006 which manufactures ultra-high-definition television (4K HD). Apart from India, the company sells its television products across 60 countries including the United States. It imports components from Taiwan, Japan, China, and South Korea to manufacture high-quality TVs at economical prices. Vu entered a tie-up with the e-commerce platform Flipkart in 2016 and since then has reported a 200% growth in its market share.
But the majority of the Vu branding is online-based and there are very few people who purchase it through shops. Hence it is yet to provide competition to the already existing top television brands in India.
