Make sure there are spaces between your vertebrae to keep your spine tall like a string is connected from the sky to your head pulling up gently. You can keep your eyes shut or gaze downwards gently and focused.

4. Focus on your breathing

One of the easy meditation tips and techniques for beginners  is controlling your breathing. First you need to take a nice slow  deep breath , more deep from the ones you usually take in every day life to destress yourself. Hold your breath for few seconds and exhale. And while exhale make sure all air is leaving your body completely and that exhale lasts a little longer than you inhaled.

When you take your first deep breath try to connect with what you feeling. How your body feels? How that air passing through your nostrils to your lungs and reverse? How your brain connects tour mind.

6. Distraction is normal

During this whole process it’s absolutely fine to get distracted. Your real life thoughts, worries, anxieties, nearby sounds and sensations might take over your brain and body, but that’s fine. The good news is your body is trying to get synched with the rhythm of the universe. You can again take control over your thoughts and feelings.

Take deep longer breaths, longer than the last one. Each time you do it, keep increasing the duration which makes it little harder for you. But that’s normal, you would get used to it the more you practice.

How your thoughts are more stable, spreading into the vast universe for last few minutes or hours. Try to get the rhythm back to your body to sync it with your present.
