4. Murder

Murder comprises an Indian erotic Hindi thriller film of 2004 whose director is Anurag Basu with producer Mukesh Bhatt andfeatures Emraan Hashmi, Mallika Sherawat and Ashmit Patel in the leading roles while the film is located in Bangkok, Thailand. Simran played by Mallika Sherawat, a young woman who is married to Sudhir played by Ashmit Patel leads an sad and lonely married life and accidentally meets her ex college companion, Sunny played by Emraan Hashmi, with whom she plans to have an affair. She has to constantly lie before her husband, so she decides to conclude the affair when she discovers that Sunny also has been courting another woman and so she attempts to sever all relations with Sunny.

In the meantime, Sudhir becomes suspicious of his wife and a detective is hired by him to trail her who shows him snaps of Sunny with Simran and the following day, Sunny abruptly goes missing, whereupon the police reach the couple’s house and Sudhir confesses  to killing Sunny but Simran also pleads guilty which baffles the police and the body also gets removed from the spot of burial. Sunny is subsequently discovered to be living, and it unfolds that the whole chain of events was planned by Sunny who hoped to get Sudhir imprisoned for continuing his engagement with Simran but a fight breaks out between Sudhir and Sunny and Sunny is shot by an officer of police after which the couple rejoins to live a contended married life.
